We at Pennsylvania Tree Service, Inc remain exceedingly grateful for all our many blessings of life, love and family. We know so many are suffering and struggling in the world. It is very important to Greg that we, as a family and a business, give back to the world. Greg always welcomes opportunities to serve those in our community that need our help, and does as much good as we can as a family and business to make things better for our neighbors near and far. Greg is always going out of his way to lend a hand to his neighbors and those in the community that need a little extra care and attention, like our seniors who he has great fondness and respect for, and animals who he cares for a lot. He offers up many pro-bono tree and planning jobs when he is called upon to help a person or organization achieve an altruistic goal.
Among the charitable giving that we practice, there are the following organizations to whom we donate time and money.

mikeroweWORKS Foundation – https://www.mikeroweworks.org/
Mike Rowe is more than a guy on TV. He has been encouraging us to give honor and respect to skilled labor, to the trades. We believe in the learning a trade and in the good life that can be built by working with your hands, fixing things, building things, being a producer of goods and services. This is truly part of the American dream. What would we all do without skilled tradesmen and women? Think of Carpenters, Electricians, Plumbers, auto mechanics, tree surgeons, don’t forget farmers, fishermen, pipefitters, bricklayers, welders, miners, the list is endless….In a world of automation, too many young people are stuck stationery, indoors, in front of computer screens. While mastering computer technology is so crucial and important to life today, sadly so many young folks learn so little about how to design, construct or fix things. After all, fixing things, and building things are also, and always will be, an especially essential and vital piece of our lives today as well. Pennsylvania Tree Service honors those who want to learn a trade. and The mikeroweWORKS Foundation is creating alternatives to the four-year, high student debt college path. Vocational Training, and apprenticeships. He shines a light on the greatness of the “blue collar” worker. These tradesmen and women, and the tough, hard work they do is so significant and central to the success of our great nation. His foundation supports “blue collar” entrepreneurs, and is determined to lessen the skills gap in our younger generations. The foundation funds scholarships to vocational schools, apprenticeships, and vocational training to deserving young people eager to master a trade. mikeroweWORKS also spreads awareness for the need to respect and honor hard work in general. Mike and the foundation actively support the creation of small businesses that can be led by a well-trained, and master tradesman or woman.
Pets for Vets & K9s for Warriors – https://petsforvets.com/ https://www.k9sforwarriors.org/
We support Pets for Vets, and K9s For Warriors. These are two charitable organizations founded by women. Their team, and their grass roots organizations concentrates on rescuing shelter dogs, and saving their lives. Pets for Vets trains shelter dogs with compassion and expertise, and transform these special animals into companion animals who then in turn, rescue disabled military veterans, or vets struggling with PTSD. They have developed a specialized matching algorithm that matches vets to pets in an exacting way. K9s For Warriors also rescue shelter dogs, and offer a beautiful, spacious, and wonderfully equip training center for vets to come and get to know their new companion dog. So many of our nation’s treasured and honored veterans have been saved and transformed through the special relationship that only a patient, loyal and loving dog can provide. These great programs are uniquely wonderful ways to help our animal friends, and moreover, never forget our wounded warriors. The success of both programs is amazing. Lives are transformed. How much they have sacrificed for us! Let us do what we can to bring happiness, health, and peace to both the veteran and the shelter animal. We honor these special organizations, and the people who do so much for man and animal alike.
